The monthly lasagna dinners that were a popular event\at King Street United Church of Christ for decades will resume
May 11 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the church, 201 South King St. Community members enjoyed the delicious deep dish lasagna, salad, bread, and homemade desserts for the low price of $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and $5 for children aged 3 to 10 until the Covid-19 pandemic forced the church to suspend operations in the spring of 2020. Since then, we have been working to launch the dinners anew and we are finally ready. Come on out and taste the delectable meal — the best value in town! There is a choice of meat sauce, vegetarian, or gluten-free pasta available. Our homemade desserts are second to none. These dinners have had a loyal following and our hope is that many who
patronized them in the past will come back and see us. We’ve missed you!
The dinners are scheduled on the second Saturday of the month from 5 to 7 p.m. September through May.
