Women's Society
Established in 1948, the Women's Society is open to all women of the
church. The group is dedicated to fellowship, fundraising, and
spiritual growth. Meetings are on the first Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m.
Thrift Shop
For several decades, the Society has operated a
shop in the church basement that sells an amazing variety of
donated clothing and household goods. It is open to the general public:
-
Thursday mornings, 9:00 to noon
-
Saturday mornings, 9:00 to noon
To donate items, drop them at the shop during
the hours above, or contact Marilyn Kelley.
Pot Luck Supper
Held every August, this event is
open to all women who are members or friends of the church.
Holiday Bazaar
Crafts by our talented members and
friends, homemade baked goods, a delicious lunch, and children’s
activities make this annual November event fun and profitable.
Christmas Party
This event, for all women of the
church, is held every December.
Our Profits Support:
-
Local and global missions
-
An annual pledge to the church budget
-
Updating of church carpets, curtains, and
