Kindness is a language
which the deaf can hear and the blind can read.

Stewardship

The Stewardship Team is charged with managing our resources to the best advantage of the church and its community. This means:

  • Helping people of all ages understand and participate in the church's mission.

  • Making the most of each person's special talents

  • Encouraging attendance

  • Challenging us to greater commitment of time and financial resources

  • Inspiring us to recruit others in the mission

  • Involving all members in church decisions

  • Committing us to serving our local community

Our fundraising events are also fun-raising and friend-raising, so watch the news page for upcoming activities!

Annual Stewardship Drive

Beginning each October, we hold a formal stewardship drive in which members pledge their service on various boards and other missions for the coming year. The drive concludes on Celebration Sunday (in mid November), when we make our financial pledges. This enables the Trustees to develop a responsible budget in time for the new calendar year.

Talent Bank

We are developing a database that identifies special interests and abilities that our members and friends are willing to make available for one another and the church and local community. Participants will be able to volunteer gratis work, or even advertise paid services if they agree to donate part of the proceeds to charity. Stay tuned!
