About Me and King Street Church

My wife, Chris, and I have been members of King Street Church since 1979, raising three daughters within its strong family environment and developing social ties with many other families. During those 27 years we've filled almost every role --

  • Moderator

  • Sunday school teacher

  • Senior deacon

  • 24 year member of the handbell choir

  • Members of boards, including Pastor Parish Relations

  • Pastoral search committee members

-- but we seem to be best known for coordinating adult fellowship events, talent shows and auctions, and most especially, my ability to wash dishes after Chris's monthly lasagna dinners!

I've been self-employed in the employee benefits/insurance field for more than 25 years. Chris is a senior tax accountant with a local CPA firm.

Our three daughters, now college grads in their twenties, have fond memories of youth activities, confirmation, shows produced by past music director Bob Sanger, handbell ringing, church fairs, Christmas bazaars, and best friendships made because they’ve been a part of King Street Church since baptism and attended the nursery school in the church.
